The short version
This website does not set any cookies at all. It is a set of static pages with no accounts, no logins, no analytics and no advertising. There is nothing to accept or decline, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner.
One thing does happen that you should know about: our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. That is explained below.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, which is then sent back on later visits. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, tracking pixels — do comparable things. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside the UK GDPR) requires your consent before anything that is not strictly necessary is stored on or read from your device.
This website
Cookies we set
None. These pages are plain HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript that only opens the mobile menu and fills in the year in the footer. Nothing is written to your device, and nothing is read from it.
Analytics and advertising
None. There is no analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no equivalent — and no advertising or tracking pixels of any kind. We do not know who visits this site or what they read.
If we add analytics in future, we will use a privacy-respecting approach and update this page before doing so.
Third-party requests

If you would rather not make this request, blocking it in your browser is harmless — the site falls back to typefaces already on your device and remains fully readable.
We are considering serving the fonts from our own servers instead, which would remove this third-party request entirely. [to be decided when hosting is chosen]
Links to other websites
Some pages link to external organisations, notably on our support resources page. Those websites have their own cookie policies, which we do not control. Following a link from here does not tell us that you did so.
The Amana app
The Amana mobile application does not use cookies — cookies are a web browser mechanism, and the app is not a browser. It does store some information on your device, which is set out here for completeness.

All of the above are strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for, and none are used for analytics, profiling or advertising. Signing out clears the stored session; deleting the app removes local storage entirely.
Notification alerts are delivered through Google's push service. They carry only a generic prompt and a category — never message content, names or match details. See the Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies generally
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and offers a private browsing mode. Because this site sets none, those settings will make no difference to how it behaves — though blocking third-party requests will stop the Google Fonts request described above.
Changes to this policy
If we begin using cookies or similar technologies on this website, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything is stored. This is particularly likely to be revisited when Amana moves to its final domain and hosting arrangement.
